Join us at Malone Hall for a spectacular weekend of dancing with highly-regarded international teachers Richard Voogt and Luisa Castro.

Friday Evening there is a 2 hour beginner/improver level workshop.

Saturday, we have a 4 hour intermediate+ workshop during the day, and an all-levels evening class and social where we will party until 1am.

All workshops will be held at Dance Addiction Studios (1A Parkgate Avenue, BT4 1JA) and the Saturday evening class and social/party will be held at Malone Hall (Malone Rugby Club, Gibson Park Ave, Cregagh Rd, Belfast BT6 9GL).

Both locations have onsite parking and are 10 minutes from city centre.

Richard Voogt is from Cape Town, South Africa. After moving to the USA he was introduced to Kizomba, Semba & Afrohouse/Kuduro and had the fortune of training and living with Angolans (the country of Kizomba, Semba & Kuduros’ origins), which gave him a profound insight into the culture of these styles.

After performing across the USA as an amateur, Richard returned to the UK to start his own school and turn professional. He teaches regularly and travels internationally to teach and perform at some of the biggest dance events around the world.

In 2020, Richard Voogt & RV Dance were recognized by the Arts Council of England & HM Government for the contribution made to culture, receiving a Cultural Recovery Grant to support its continued growth and success.
