Summerseat Pumptrack (pre-build drop in session)
Join us for a public engagement session all about revamping the existing Pumptrack at Summerseat Island, Bury.
Summerseat Village Collective are working alongside Bury Council and Community Interest Company Proffitts – Investing in Communities on a project to improve Summerseat Island in Bury.
The project, which will take place over several years, aims to turn the space into a haven for nature and recreation, celebrate the natural heritage of the site, and improve accessibility.
Dirt Factory's role is to oversee the redesign and renovation of the existing cycle / pump track and to turn it into a fun and popular cycling facility for local young people and the wider community.
Before work on site begins, Dirt Factory will be running a drop-in session at the site of the old track on Saturday 19 th July between 11am and 2pm. Dirt Factory will be able to answer any questions about the design and share how riding pumptracks and trails are great for confidence, mental health and physcial health.
