Leader as Coach: What’s Happening?

Following on from the Harvard Business Review article “Leader as Coach” by Herminia Ibarra and Anne Scoular, there has been a lot of interest in what organisations are doing to train their leaders in the skill of coaching. In this Panel discussion, Anne Scoular will interview four senior leaders (Sasha Hardman, Global HR Director at Allen & Overy; James Fulton, Chief Learning Officer at Goldman Sachs; Jenni Emery, Global People Leader at Arup, and Carolann Edwards OBE, Managing Director, Workplace Psychology, and until recently Global Director of Learning and Organisational Development at Norton Rose Fulbright), asking each to describe what they are doing; what future plans they have for this; and for their tips on what they have found helpful. This will be followed by a facilitated discussion, and an opportunity for questions from the audience.
