Sunday Assembly London Pilates
Thu 27 April 2017, 19:45 – 20:45 BST
Sunday Assembly is a congregational community building charity with a vision to help everyone live life as fully as possible.
We aim to provide inspiring, thought-provoking and practical ideas that help people to live the lives they want to lead and be the people they want to be.
Assemblies are communities of action building lives of purpose, encouraging us all to help anyone who needs it to support each other.
Hearing talks, singing as one, listening to readings and even playing games helps us to connect with each other and the awesome world we live in.
One of our incredible volunteers, Sam Hopkins has offered Pilates classes for both the Sunday Assembly community and the Peabody Housing community in Kings Cross, where the Sunday Assembly offices are based.
Here's a little about Sam:
‘My passion for Pilates and Wellbeing was born from my own struggles with chronic back pain and health issues due to stress and living a hectic City lifestyle. Through Pilates I am now free from pain and have found a deep mind and body connection, not only present when I am in class practice but also in my day to day life.
It is my mission to help people of all ages, ability levels and backgrounds to experience this life enhancing movement method’
