Event description

Description

Whether it's our religious leader, favourite popstar or beloved quarterback, humans love to be in the presence to greatness, and to share this experience with a physical audience going through the same emotions as we are.

Social distancing, while it opens unprecedented avenues to technological innovation from video calls to VR, means we will likely have less IRL togetherness in our near future.

During this salon we will discuss to what degree is the awe, the numinous, the sublime trannsmittable via internet products - and whether there's something mysterious about IRL presence we will never be able to replace.
