Sunday is Saree Day by Mohila Ongon

FREE I Women Only Event

Come and celebrate womanhood through both sarees and the Bangladeshi delicacy, pittha. There will be a variety of entertainment, stalls and activities. These include an art workshop for mothers and children, saree workshop and a fashion show. There will also be traditional Bengali music, dance, games and spoken poetry on the theme of kindness. Delicious food will be available to buy. This is a women-only event.

Dress code: Light Blue

Mohila Ongon is a grass-roots organisation which represents ethnic minority and Bangladeshi women. They organise a wide range of activities, events and educational workshops.
