Event description
Spice up your Sunday evening with some sofa activism alongside fellow DfCUK members

About this event

The use of telemedicine within abortion services is safe, effective, and acceptable - but it is also under threat.

Regulatory changes that made telemedicine possible are only temporary, and the English government is seeking evidence from healthcare professionals and the public as part of a consultation that could potentially see these changes being reversed.

This online event will feature our Policy officer, Sean, who will give you the key information to help you complete each consultation question. We will explore how telemedicine has been used in abortion services, the evidence supporting its continued use, and its impact on service users and providers. You will also meet fellow DfC members from across the UK. What more could you want?

So sign up and get ready for a wild time.

This event will be on Zoom.

You will get a link to the Zoom meeting in your email confirmation following registration, as well as in a reminder email on the day of the event.
