On the first Sunday of every month we enjoy a longer ride, typically 10-20 miles, aimed at competent cyclists who are looking to join a sociable group.
These tend to be circular routes taking in places of interest across Tyne and Wear, including a stop for refreshments and a chat.

Sunday 2nd. October - Bike Park, Temple Park, South Shields, Monkton Cycle Way, Pelaw, Angel Cycleway, Angel of the North, Birtley, C2C NCN Route 72 to Roker, NCN Route 1 to South Shields and back to Temple Park. Approximately 32 miles.
Riders are advised to wear helmets and bikes must be in good working order. Remember to bring a spare inner tube and money for refreshments if needed. Bikes and helmets can be borrowed from The Bike Park if booked in advance.
If bringing along your own bike it needs to be roadworthy.
All under 18's must be accompanied by an adult.
