Sunday Sound bath (adult only) for Class 8 Fundraiser
Sound and vibration can be used to help regulate the nervous system and relax the body and the mind. Davina will use a range of instruments throughout the session such as a singing bowl, bodhrán drum, wind chime, rainstick and koshi bells. Let the sounds bathe you as you relax on your mat.
The session will include:
· Breathwork to help calm the nervous system
· Gentle floor-based yoga stretches to release tension in the body (no experience of yoga required)
· Short guided meditation to help settle the mind
· Sound bath for deep relaxation
Please bring a yoga mat, a blanket, a cushion and water. You will need to wear comfortable clothing.
Sound baths are not recommended in pregnancy or for those with severe mental heath issues.
Sound baths may not be suitable for people:
· Who experience epilepsy or seizures
- Who have other conditions that may be triggered by sound, including tinnitus
- Who have metal plates, implants (other than tooth fillings), pacemakers or other devices fitted
- Who have a severe physical condition.

You are also taking full responsibility for listening to your body during the physical practice and acknowledge that, in undertaking yoga practices you are doing so at your own risk.
