A monthly soundbath session which takes advantage of the liminal and soothing qualities of sound to help take you on an inner journey.

About this event

This regular, monthly soundbath series is held at The Yoga Loft in Whitley Bay.

The session is an immersive sonic journey, designed to help you enter altered states of consciousness where you can better relax, detach from your Earthly troubles and maybe even receive personal and spiritual insights.

The instruments and techniques by which they are played, have the potential to deepen your meditation and intention-setting practice.

As always, each month's soundbath is based on a theme that will be shared within a week or so of the event here and on my Instagram account @circleoflightholistics.

You are welcome to bring your own intention on the afternoon or allow yourself to be guided by my suggestion.

Please wear warm, loose-fitting clothing. A blanket, bolster cushion and yoga mat will be provided, though it is advisable for you to bring an extra blanket that you can lie on for added cushioning as well as an eye pillow if you have one.

Join me on the afternoon of 12th June at The Yoga Loft, Whitley Bay, for the next Sunday Soundbath.

We naturally place so much of our conscious awareness in the analytical, left side of our brain. As a result, we tend to neglect the artistic and abstract right side. It’s not all bad though, because focussing our attention on the detail and categorising things has kept us alive over the millennia. When it comes to being more mindful and less impulsive, it’s important to at least find a balance between the left and the right side of our grey matter!

I’ll be dropping a few snippets of meditation practise, on Instagram, over the next few days. By the end, you can connect these together in order to build up to a longer, well-rounded self-practise session. By the time Sunday comes around, you’ll have more tools at your disposal to more actively switch off, stay in the present and go with the flow of the sounds.
