>Fun, Modern Jive Event, Sunday 17th December 2017, at Free Church Hall, Northway, London NW11 6PB, www.jivedanceparty.com.

Doors open at 2.15pm.

Beginner/Ice-Breaker Class Starts at c.2.45pm, finishes c.3.30pm, followed by a fun Modern Jive Freestyle dance (this is partnered dancing for men and women) straight after the class. Tea, Coffee and light refreshemnts served from about 4pm.

Carriages at 5.30pm approximately.

Book in advance online for £9.60 per couple/pair (man and woman - this is to help with gender balance, because we know guys are shy and reluctant to commit early) at our website www.jivedanceparty.com .

Single men and single women can book online for just under £8 each.

Tickets will be available on the door on a first come, first served basis at £10 per head (please bring correct cash to save us time if possible please).

Please check the website before setting off the for the event if you haven't already booked online. We also recommend that all of customers join our mailing list before booking or settting off to attend. During the class, we do rotate partners around to make the dance dynamic, socialble and to maximise your experience of different dancing and learning styles and so that you dont get stuck with the same partner if you have come on your own – around 50 per cent of our dancers come on their own so no need to feel embarrassed if you are one of them! If you want to dance with a fixed partner, please let our desk manager known although it makes our life easier if you are flexible.

If you can walk reasonably briskly to your post box and back, you should be able to do this dance. Music is from the 50s right through to modern hits. we cant please everyone all the time with our choice of tracks, but we do our best.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

You must be an adult unless accompanied by an adult. minimum age is circa 15.

What's the refund policy?

generally no refunds

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

while we would like it to be ok, the answer is not really, i.e.no. it's better if the ticket does match the attendee as it may cause confusion otherwise or slow your admission. we dont really have the manpower to handle changes but may do so at our discretion where we can.

How to maximise your enjoyment

Come to the class, bring a friend, dress well, use a good deodorant and cologne if possible as it is a form of sociable exercise.
