Generate Summer School at Sunny Bank
Coinciding with their August exhibition in the gallery, this summer holiday, GENERATE are running 3 fun-filled days of art workshops for children aged 5-11.
Morning: 10am-12pm
Afternoon: 1pm-3pm
Full day: 10am-3pm (Bring a packed lunch!)
Price: £10 per session or £18 for full day.

Printmaking –
Inspired by Alice Chandler’s work in the exhibition, we will explore colour, pattern and shape to inspire and create prints using polystyrene sheets.
Tuesday 9th PM
Concertina Collage
Make your own concertina collage book inspired by Generate’s exhibition. We will use a range of different materials to create unique and exciting books.
Generate is an ongoing collaboration by three artists; Alice Chandler, Ellie MacGarry and Nick Kidd. Focusing on arts engagement within local communities, and using the combination of diverse practices, Generate use play and innovativeness to deliver exciting art workshops. Generate’s interests lie in being playful and experimental, thinking about the physicality of materials and the experience of making.
