What you'll be doing:
- Meet and greet on the Horbury Junction
- We kit you out with your paddle, board, buoyancy aid and helmet
- Our land based briefing (approx. 15 minutes) includes:
*Paddleboards, their key features and accessories
*How to kneel paddle (forwards / backwards / turning)
*How to transition from kneeling to standing
*How to paddle correctly
*Safety on and off the water
- We will then carry our boards to the water, get in and practice.
- Once everybody is happy then we will start our trip, taking turns to practice transitioning from kneeling to standing (never rushing this bit, at your own pace) and have lots of fun getting to know each other as you learn a new skill!
- Learn how to safely exit the water, followed by your debriefing.
