This free, instructor-led class offers a fun and dynamic way to experience yoga practice, engaging your body, improving balance, and practicing mindfulness.

Led by expereinced SUP yoga instructor, Julia Frearson, this class combines yoga with playing outdoors and balancing on water.

SUP yoga is suitable for all skill levels. We aim that no one enters the water but participants must be able to swim.

Please book one time slot per person. Arrive 10 minutes before your booked slot. These sessions are suitable for adults. All Equipment will be provided.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to wear?

Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in and which are suitable for the weather. We aim that everyone stays dry but bring a change of clothes just in case.

What should I bring?

We provide all equipment for the session but bring a bottle of water and any personal medication you need

Are there toilets?

Yes there is an accessible toilet nearby.

What is the site like?

We have a step-free pontoon and EZ launch facility (see pictures above) at our pontoon in the Barge Arm in Orchard Square.

Do I need to be able to swim?

Yes. We aim that no one goes in the water but you must be able to swim just in case. This means you are able to tread water and swim to the side to get out.

Can I bring my dog?

No dogs or other pets are allowed on this session.

How long will we be on the water for?

Our 1 hour class aims to offer 45 minutes on the water, with additional time for a safety briefing.
