New digital and health tech are impacting health and care in ways we are only just starting to understand, and future impacts are likely to be far beyond those we currently envisage. Artificial Intelligence is impacting the NHS through the likes of Babylon’s GP services and blockchain is increasingly empowering patients to take control of their own verified and trusted data. The amount of data is growing all the time and will soon include an individual’s genomic and lifestyle data alongside traditional datasets.

The Secretary of State for Health, Matt Hancock, has signalled that tech and digital solutions should be welcomed and are fundamental to moving the NHS and social care forward.

This event brings together some of the leading thinkers and doers from across the digital and health tech ecosystem to explore the policy, ethics and practicalities of such fundamental changes. The event will allow you to get under the digital bonnet and understand the current direction of travel, the questions we should ask ourselves about how we might get there, and where we might actually end up!
