Super Practical Birth Classes For Partners
Event Information
Description
Learn How to Effectively Support Your Partner on the Big Day
Have a partner soon going into labour?
But not sure what to do, or what to expect on the day?
This fun, lively and informative Practical Birthing for Partners Workshop might be for you.
It’s a one-time, evening masterclass specifically designed for partners going in to support a woman in labour – particularly those with no previous experience or knowledge.
You’ll learn:
-
The stages of labour (and what you should be doing during each stage)
-
What you should never say to a woman in labour
-
When should you go to the hospital
-
How to make childbirth easier and faster for your partner
-
How to time contractions (and why it’s important)
-
Positions and massage techniques to assist the labouring mother
-
Simple Breathing techniques to reduce stress
All this (and a lot more), is covered in this lively evening workshop where the atmosphere is informal and conversational. Best of all, you’ll get to ask the questions you haven't been able to get answers on Google for - including the gross ones.
The program will equip you with the practical knowledge you need to play an active and supportive role on the big day, and have a memorable and empowering experience.
Who is this course for?
The class is designed for first time fathers who haven’t had the time to do the research or read the books, as well those going back for a second or third round who weren’t well prepared the first time.
