About the presenter:
Emma is a mum & a nature lover who has been fascinated by nature since she was knee high to a grasshopper. Being in her garden, or local wood always give her a sense of belonging; and a place where she can be her. It also sparked her lifelong mission to protect our mother earth.
Though she’s studied lots about wildlife including a Ph.D in ecology, the most important thing she’s learnt is that we only care most about the things we know and love.
So, Emma created Bearing Fruit as a place for people of ages, particularly families to nurture their curiosity in nature.

Nestled in beautiful St Margaret’s Bay, The Pines Garden is a free-to-access, environmentally managed garden run by The Bay Trust. With over 50 years of history and an organic ethos, the garden is home to a mini-orchard of fruit trees, a grass labyrinth and and a thriving ecosystem built on harmony with nature. It’s the perfect setting for a story that celebrates wonder, kindness and connection.
