Learn to cook quick, vibrant, fresh and healthy soups and salads to enjoy as starters or for lunch.
We will cook a selection of Super Salads and Winter Salads over the course of the morning that you can make at home. There will be plenty of opportunities to sample what we make, and there may even be enough for you to take home with you!
The workshop is a mixture of demonstration and hands on. Dishes and ingredients will vary depending on what is in season.
We will cook soups such as:
- Leek, potato and onion
- Spicy chick pea and lentil
- Tomato and butterbean
We will also look at store cupboard ingredients, how to achieve a balanced plant-based diet and tips to save time and increase your confidence in the kitchen.
The course involves a mixture of demonstrations and hands-on cookery in my kitchen, where I'll be able to answer all of your plant-based cooking questions.
There will be lots of cooking, but also plenty of conversation, tasting and fun, plus, you'll receive a little goody bag with recipes from the morning so you can recreate the soups and salads at home.
