The Designer Maker, Britain 2015
‘This is your life’
What does it entail to become a successful designer maker in Britain in 2015? Does our education system do a good job in preparing young people? Does the design world welcome newcomers whether they are graduates or apprentices? What is the advice for the upcoming generations? What could be done better to create more opportunities?
Jade-Ilke, creative solutions are really excited to be proud partners of Tent London & Super Brands; such a beacon in the design world, Tent London is creating 12 positions for young people to learn work and business skills during the setup and throughout the show.
In line with their passion in supporting future generations, Jade-Ilke is also organising and chairing a panel discussion on what it means to be a designer in Britain in 2015; this is going to be an inspiring discussion, that will of course be honest about the current state of affairs, but will also try to come up with ideas to solve the problems emerging designers might be facing, creatively!
