You will receive support from a degree student for 3 months. For example, interns get £13.71 an hour, at a 35 hour per week role for three months, you would be saving £6,000.

When would the support begin?

Applications and paperwork would begin in the coming weeks, with a placement organised to begin in June or July.

Is there a hidden cost?

No. If you choose a placement where the student mainly works from home or University, there will be no cost. If you choose a placement and encourage students to attend your premises, it may be an in-kind contribution for things such as office space, equipment, risk assessments etc.

Can I choose my student?

The Professor will go through your brief with you and with the interests and skill sets of each student, matching them to their business. You will have a say who is allocated to your business too, you will meet them before the project begins.

How much time would I need to give?

Please ensure that you have a chance to settle the student in with your missions and values etc. ensuring they understand the business. Besides this and identifying what you would like from the collaboration, we would ask you to check-in on them occasionally.
