D ue to popular demand, we have added this very special summer scheme for upper primary age children with additional needs.
T aking place at Sensations Nest in Carryduff, we will be taking advantage of the outdoor space to enjoy the fresh air and sensory play facilities.
T he focus of this scheme is to:
- A llow children with SEN to engage in fun play activities in a small group setting with highly skilled adults and a high adult:child ratio
- E xplore sensory play activities
- P ractice emotional regulation skills with daily relaxation sessions
- C reative tasks to help build the child's toolkit of strategies for managing emotions (for example, making lavender dough, calm-down bottles, affirmation jars etc)
- P ractice social skills and friendship making at a level which is comfortable for the child with additional needs, and supported by knowledgeable staff.
T imes: 10am to 2pm daily

You asked, we listened! We are now running this scheme for two weeks, with an option to attend for week one, week two, or both!
Please note that Monday 14th July is a bank holiday, therefore the scheme starts on Tuesday 15th July.
