About this event
Join us at the launch of ‘Supper on the Moon’ where you are invited to step away from planet Earth and into a laid back, multi-sensory dimension a.k.a ‘The Moon’. En Root’s unique culinary creations are the thread that will tie together an unforgettable evening of Spoken Word, Music, and Mystery!
For each supper a bespoke menu will be created especially, and served in three glorious meze courses alongside a healthy portion of enlightenment and illumination.
Everyone attending is invited to write in response to the below prompts should they wish to. There will be an open mic segment on the night where we’ll welcome up to six people to share what they’ve created.
Writing Prompts:
“Everyone is a moon, and has a dark side which he never shows to anybody.”
- Mark Twain
“The Moon has been long linked to madness and lunacy. Even today, people sometimes superstitiously blame the Moon, especially the full Moon.”
- Ken Croswell
“The Sun watches what I do, but the Moon knows all my secrets.”
- J. M. Wonderland
