Support and Challenge for all in the Maths Classroom
Wed 12 July 2017, 13:00 – 17:00 BST
Differentiation in Math teaching is at the top of many schools’ agendas and is a hot topic of discussion.
This session offers an introduction to the principles and strategies that allow teachers to support struggling learners, and extend learning for advanced learners within whole class, mixed ability setting.
Participants will explore how teachers can vary their lesson for differentiation and will come away with useful ideas and practices that they can apply in the classroom.
This is a free to attend CPD opportunity open to Primary teachers, maths leads and senior leaders, working in schools in the Northumberland, Tyne, Wear and Durham.
Participants are expected to complete a short pre course questionnaire, and another reflection a month after the session.
Refreshments are provided, and there is plenty of free parking at Lumley Castle.
Please Note: To ensure that funding is used effectviely, cancellations within 1 week of the course date, non-attendance or failure to return the evaluations, will be charged at £30 per person, invoiced to the school.
