About this event

Charity & Causes • Human Rights

In this training session, put on by the Restricted Eligibility Support Service, aimed at people working in housing and homelessness across Greater Manchester, we explore how domestic abuse affects non-UK nationals. The training provides an overview of domestic abuse and how this can differ culturally for those from abroad and how immigration status is used as a form of control. We will look at possible routes out of an abusive relationship for non-UK national women and what immigration options are available. The training provides recent updates and also gives details about where to get more help and support.
