Course Overview
This online, half-day course will look at how support and supervision can help both challenge and support staff to do their best work and be their best at work.
Learning Outcomes
- Clarify the four main functions of support and supervision and explore some of the tensions that can arise.
- Identify who the main stakeholders are.
- Introduce the four elements of the supervision cycle and consider how to use this cycle to promote reflective supervision and avoid over-focusing on any single function.
- It will be particularly useful for anyone offering support and supervision who wants to review the balance and focus of the supervision they offer either at an individual or organisational and policy level.
