The Open Mic UK live showcases give musicians and singers the chance to perform in front of music and entertainment industry judges including A&R from the three major record labels, with judges getting more prestigious as the competition progresses.

Competition judging at the live showcases will not only be based on vocal ability, but also image, performance, originality and star quality, with an overall view to find a recording artist suitable for today's current market.
