Event description
A session for Volunteer Managers who would like to make their volunteering more accessible to those with a criminal record.

About this Event

This lunchtime briefing will take place in Huddersfield Mission (Rosa Parks Suite) and is aimed at Volunteer Managers or people responsible for recruiting training and supporting volunteers. The session will be led by Andrina Dawson from 'Giving Time' a 5 year project funded by the Big Lottery and managed by Volunteer Centre Leeds. The 'Giving Time' project supports adults who have criminal convictions to access volunteering opportunities.

Andrina will be sharing learning from the project including a toolkit and resources developed for organisations and charities who support volunteers.

The format for the sessions will include a presentation by Andrina followed by a question and answer session.

Bring your lunch with you and we will provide the tea/coffee and biscuits!

This session is free for Charities and Not-for-Profit organisations in Kirklees.

Huddersfield Mission is in Huddersfield town centre, 3-13 Lord Street, HD1 1QA. The Rosa Parks suite is on the first floor and there is a lift. If you have any access needs or help with getting to this event please let us know.
