About this event

Family & Education • Children & Youth

Join us for this supportive and practical online session, designed especially for parents and carers of teenagers. We’ll explore what’s going on in the teenage brain, why sleep becomes such a battle, and how screens (and other habits) play a role.

You’ll come away with:✅ A clearer understanding of teen sleep patterns✅ Strategies to support healthier routines (without the drama)✅ Tips for setting respectful, realistic boundaries✅ Confidence to help your teen get the rest they actually need

⏱ Busy life? No problem.Treat this like a podcast! Listen in while you’re commuting, cooking dinner, or hiding in the car for five minutes of peace.

❓ Time for Q&A at the end, so bring your questions – or just listen in quietly. All parents welcome, cameras optional!

Frequently asked questions

Who is this session for?

This workshop is for parents and carers of teenagers (generally ages 13–19) who are concerned about their teen’s sleep, screen use, or both. Whether it’s late-night scrolling, difficulty waking up, or general tiredness, this session is here to support you.

Do I have to be on camera or speak?

Nope! You’re welcome to keep your camera off and simply listen in. There's no pressure to participate – just join in the way that suits you best.

Can I listen to the session while multitasking?

Absolutely! We know life is busy, so feel free to treat it like a podcast – listen on your commute, while cooking dinner, or doing the dishes. We’ve designed it to be useful even if you’re only half-watching.

Will there be time for questions?

Yes! There will be a Q&A at the end where you can ask questions or just listen to others. You can also pop your questions in the chat if you’d rather not speak.

Can teenagers attend too?

This session is designed for adults, but teens are welcome to listen in if they’re interested. In fact, when families have joined together in the past, it’s often opened up great opportunities for communication between teenagers and their parent or carer.

Is this session free?

Yes! The workshop is completely free, just sign up and join us online.
