Sitra and Homeless Link members are invited to join us for this special one day conference that will explore the current supported housing landscape, considering the threats, opportunities and where the focus needs to be for the coming year.
Branching out from the keynote address, this event will break out into a series of engaging workshops, of which you will be able to select those which peak your interest.
The event will share best practice in both core as well as new areas of housing care and support, including:
psychologically informed support
support for clients using new psychoactive substances
caring for the health of individuals with multiple needs
the role of coaching in supporting individuals with low support needs
how to get someone in supported housing an assessment under the Care Act
Alongside this the event will examine aspects of housing management, including:
the implications of welfare reform on rent and income for a service
an introduction to social investment vehicles
how to articulate your worth to key strategic partners, commissioners and funders
asset based delivery within supported housing.
The conference will also allow us to shine further light on the merger of Sitra and Homeless Link, and how we are collaborating to strengthen not only each other, but the sector and our members.
We look forward to meeting as many of our members as we can at this event.
