Lighthouse Futures Trust is associated with Lighthouse School which provides bespoke curriculum to support young people on the Autistic Spectrum to reach their full potential.

Supported internships which will be discussed by students in this session include:

Johnson and Johnson ( Depuy Synthes)

Depuy Synthes manufacture artificial limbs and have worked with Lighthouse Futures trust to provide supported internships across a number of areas including working in the laboratory, Customer Services, Clinical Trials, PA/Events Management, Stores, and Finance. One of our Lighthouse's Interns is based in the laboratory and is learning how to make serums used to test in the simulation process of the artificial limbs.

John Lewis

Supported internships available across sales, cafe/hospitality, Consumer Electrics. One of Lighthouse's interns is working the Consumer Electrics area and has a keen interest in technology and mobile communications, they have received training from Face book , Sony and Panasonic.

Yorkshire Water

Supported Internships available across several areas including Water Treatment, IT, Data and Data Admin, General data input and gathering of information.
