Supporting ambitious and innovative walking and cycling
Overview
We will examine how high-quality active travel infrastructure, alongside innovation and robust evaluation, can improve Healthy Streets Scorecard outcome indicators including sustainable modeshare, active travel rate and road collision casualties.
Healthy Streets Scorecard Coalition members will share insights on the most ambitious schemes of 2025, highlighting what made them effective and how we can build on this progress into 2026.
Please note: This event is exclusively for officers and practitioners working within London local authorities, and will be followed by an optional lunch.

Module two: Measuring Success
Monitoring and evaluation are often deprioritised once schemes are built, yet in challenging financial environments, a strong evidence base is essential for securing future investment.
This module will focus on:
- Applying low-resource monitoring and evaluation approaches
- Embedding evaluation into schemes from the outset
