Supporting ASC Front Door Redesign with AI driven ASC digital assistants

As councils continue to redesign the ASC front door, many are looking at new and more accessible ways to support people to get information and advice more easily, making the best use of both people and technology.

Working with West Northamptonshire Council, Bradford MBC, and Norfolk County Council, we have developed an innovative new approach which gives people 24/7 access to trusted Adult Social Care information and advice, using a safe and secure AI driven approach.

Three digital assistants Rose, Annie & Cora are now being used by people as an alternative ASC front door channel, accessible via WhatsApp and online - critically these assistants can manage 100s of conversations simultaneously, in any language.

On this webinar colleagues from West Northamptonshire Council will cover their work over the last 8 months from building the trusted content approach, through go live to marketing, deployment and BAU. They will give an overview of work to address information governance, prompt engineering, cyber security, AI assistant management, oversight and more.

Trained on trusted information and advice, linking into directories as well as national and local partner content, Rose, Annie & Cora are supporting people in a range of ways - not only giving them 24/7 access to ASC guidance; but the ability to return to their conversation/enquiries at a later date; have a conversation by text or voice; and for councils to be able to gather critical feedback, metrics and send follow up messages.

With over 3,000 calls into the contact centre each month (50% of which are for information and advice), and 100+ languages spoken in Bradford - this AI driven, 24/7, multilingual offering is potentially game changing.
