This 3 hour interactive online workshop will explore the experience of bereavement for children and young people and what is needed to support them in their grief.

Learning Outcomes

You will:

• increase your awareness of how children and young people understand and respond to loss, death and bereavement across the age range

• gain an understanding of the theories of loss and mourning in relation to children and young people

• develop knowledge of practical strategies and gain greater confidence in supporting bereaved children and young people

• consider the potential impact on you when coming alongside bereaved children and young people

• gain information about Child Bereavement UK, other support organisations and resources that can support bereaved families

Who should attend?

All those whose work brings them into contact with grieving children and young people, in whatever capacity.
