Supporting Bereavement in the Workplace

Supporting a colleague through bereavement can feel overwhelming, especially when we're unsure of the right words or actions.

Our 2-hour online workshop, Supporting Bereavement in the Workplace, is a gentle and informative guide designed to help you navigate these sensitive conversations with empathy and kindness.

You will gain a deeper understanding of grief and learn how to provide meaningful, compassionate support that makes a genuine difference to your colleagues during a difficult time.

Key takeaways

  • A deeper understanding of grief: Learn the nuances of grief, bereavement, and mourning to better understand what colleagues may be experiencing.
  • A thoughtful approach to support: Explore different ways you can offer meaningful support, providing care that truly meets their needs.
  • Empathy in conversation: Develop the confidence to approach and hold difficult conversations with kindness and sensitivity, ensuring your colleague feels heard and supported.
