Advice for parent carers about the support available for children or young people with additional needs who attend mainstream settings.

This workshop is for parent carers of school-aged children and young people with additional needs or disabilities (with or without a diagnosis) in England.


This online workshop will cover:

· Ordinary provision available in mainstream settings

· Laws and policies in place to support your child

· SEN support

· The role of the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO)

· The process behind Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans

· Information about professionals that may be involved.


There will be time for questions as well as signposting to further sources of advice and support.
