This is the follow up to Supporting parents when a child is in therapy.

Supporting Families - Part 2

This workshop is for Child Therapists who want to deepen their understanding of supporting all parents in understanding their child better. Breaking down barriers to communication due to cultural difference and building stable relationships based on openess, respect and humility.

This is not a workshop for direct focused work with parents or child/parent work. This requires a specific training.

Recognising and acknowledging unconcious bias and cultural assumptions in parental interactions.

Being culturally aware and sensitive to taboo topics
