Heart of the City and BIG Alliance have joined forces to connect a cluster of Islington based small to medium sized businesses (SMEs) to engage in responsible business activities. These two organisations have the knowledge, and network to get your business involved in some exciting responsible activities. We have funded places available for the first year of our membership programme to help you develop and define a strategy that is right for your business and connects your employees with needs-led community projects right on your doorstep.

Why Islington? Despite appearances, Islington is one of the most deprived boroughs in London with high levels of poverty, deprivation and inequality. It’s time for businesses to take action and find out how they can make a positive difference to people, places and the planet.

Kindly hosted by Finsbury Business Centre, this relaxed after work event will bring together like-minded businesses to find out more about Islington and how you could get involved. We will be joined by resident CSR expert, Rachel Engel, Regional Head of Macquarie Foundation who will give a snapshot of key local issues and you’ll hear from the Heart of the City and BIG Alliance on how your business can sign up and get involved for 2019.
