This mentorship update is for qualified mentors and will incorporate transitioning across to the new NMC roles of Practice Supervisor and Practice Assessor.
Learning Outcomes:
• Understand the requirements for the roles in supporting learners in practice, whether as a Mentor, Sign-Off Mentor, Educator, Practice Supervisor, Practice Assessor or Academic Assessor
• Update your knowledge around curriculum changes, NMC standards and the skills needed to support learners in practice
• Explore and reflect on issues associated with the assessment of students
