  1. Wednesday 8th October 2025 - Foundations of Supervision Pt. 1
  2. Tuesday 4th November 2025 - Foundations of Supervision Pt. 2
  3. Tuesday 2nd December 2025 - Effective Supervisory Relationships
  4. Tuesday 6th January 2026 - Giving feedback and managing challenges in supervision

Facilitators: All sessions are facilitated by Dr Ben Green (Clinical Director, DClinPsy) plus other facilitators.

Course content: SLiP is an introductory supervisor training aimed at new supervisors, though we welcome anyone, however experienced, seeking dedicated time and space to reflect on their supervisory practice. Titles of workshops give some indication of workshop content.

Eligibility to attend: SLiP is provided FREE OF CHARGE for those offering clinical supervision to trainee clinical psychologists and apprentice CAPs from the University of Plymouth, currently or in the future.

Accreditation: Completion of SLiP does not currently confer entry onto the BPS Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors (RAPPS). Attendees will be eligible for a CPD certificate of attendance if all four workshops are attended.
