Description

The University's Progression Strategy proposes a progressive structure for teaching and the support of students' learning and suggests success as a student depends on having skills and abilities as an independent learner. How might we design our courses and learning activities to scaffold and support learners towards independence?

The workshop will explore and invite discussion around the potential kinds of activities and approaches pertinent to key phases in the student journey as learners move from an intensive supported phase (level 4), through guided support (L5) to independent learner (level 6).
