Supporting Menopause: A Workshop for Allies
Overview
Menopause is a significant life transition that can affect physical health, mental wellbeing, relationships and work, yet many partners, colleagues and allies feel unsure how to help, or worry about saying the wrong thing.
This workshop, delivered by Hormones on the Blink, is designed specifically for allies who want to better understand menopause and offer meaningful, practical support. We’ll explore what menopause is, who it affects, and the science behind the changes, alongside the real-world impact on daily life, relationships and work.
Drawing on evidence, lived experience and survey feedback from women, the session focuses on building understanding, empathy and confidence, moving beyond myths, minimisation and frustration towards supportive, respectful responses.
