'The course was very informative and I learned so much. The trainer was very friendly and knowledgeable. I feel much better equipped and confident to tackle mental health issues.'
Never before have we been so aware of the importance of Mental Health in our lives and our working worlds. We're finally starting to talk about our challenges and concerns, as words like 'anxiety', 'stress' and 'burnout' become a part of our daily lexicon. And, with individuals beginning to consider their mental wellbeing alongside the physical, many are now wanting the freedom to discuss their needs and struggles with their leadership and managers.
But what does all of this mean if you are the leader, or the manager they come to? Do you have the confidence to hold the space and chat things through in the way you'd like, or are there things that are a bit of a struggle? Things you'd like to ask? Things you wish you knew how to do? Turns out, you're not alone and we want to do something to help!
Come and join Cami Rose for another opportunity to join this 'must have' manager guide. She'll be sharing thoughts, tools and ideas from her many years of experience as a counsellor and coach, supporting people at work. Specialist in making the complex simple and in sharing practical and accessible tools you can take and use right away, Cami will be exploring:
Mental Health - what it is, who has it and why it matters.
Common terms and what they mean.
Making room for wellbeing conversations.
How to be helpful when there's nothing you can do.
Due to the subject matter, and to ensure your safety and wellbeing, this is an interactive workshop and we will encourage the use of your camera throughout. We'll be using both a large group and smaller break-out sessions, so you'll need a microphone to join in.
In return, we want to reassure you that we won't call on you for input without your permission, we won't make you speak - or share- if you'd prefer not to. We'd like you to be able to relax and enjoy the session your way, but also need to be able to see that you're ok!
