Creating stigma-free workplaces which support and promote good mental health benefits both individuals and employers. In fact, evidence shows that for every £1 an employer spends on mental health interventions, they can expect to see a return on their investment of around £5.

The Scottish Government, Public Health Scotland and See Me would like to invite employers across Scotland to join the newly established network ‘Supporting Mentally Healthy Workplaces: National Learning Network for Employers’ and attend its first meeting on Thursday 16 March 2023, online via MS Teams.

Through this network you can learn what employers across Scotland are doing to support mental health and wellbeing in the workplace, and share your experiences with others in a dedicated peer learning space.

The network is open to all employers across Scotland of any size and from all sectors and industries. Anyone who has leadership responsibility within their organisation for supporting and promoting mental health and wellbeing in the workplace is encouraged to join.

The focus of this event will be stigma and discrimination. Network members will have a key role in deciding future agendas and issues for discussion.
