Depression is very common in neurodivergent children and young people, and alarmingly, it is often seen from an early age (primary school age), which is different to their peers. However, many of the symptoms of depression mirror neurodivergent characteristics, making it difficult to distinguish them.
Furthermore, the language we use around depression is often abstract. Describing feelings like "empty" or "guilty" can be confusing for them, making conversations about this topic particularly tricky.
Join us for this webinar designed to empower educators with the tools and insights needed to support neurodivergent children and young people who may be experiencing depression.
