The Centres for Innovation in Fatherhood and Family Research and the Lincoln Centre for Crime and Justice based at the University of Lincoln are delighted to invite you to this in-person event.

The event will bring together academics, practitioners, and policymakers to explore how we can better support parents and families affected by the criminal justice system, with an aim to foster dialogue, share insights, and identify opportunities for collaboration in supporting families impacted by imprisonment.


Speakers

The morning will feature presentations from:

Dr Laura Abbott (Lost Mothers Project)

Professor Anna Tarrant (Centre for Innovation in Fatherhood and Family Research) and Kelly Rodgers (Prison Advice and Care Trust)

Dr Anita Mehay (City University)

Dr David Maguire and Dr Marie Hutton (Prison Reform Trust)

This will be followed by an interactive, arts-based session in the afternoon led by Emma Hulme and Dan Boyden (Social Interest Group Safe Ground).
