For our second Live Longer Better Gloucestershire Community of Practice we are joined by Peter Dutton from We Are Undefeatable to discuss how we can support people with Long Term Health Conditions to be active. As we age, developing one or more health condition can be more likely and for many people, this may mean they stop being active, however, we know that the benefits of activity outweigh the risk for the majority of people with Long Term Health Conditions. Despite this, there is a gap in activity levels between those with a health condition and those who do not have a health condition.
In this discussion we will look at the We Are Undefeatable ‘Bridging the Gap’ report, hear from local case studies about how they engage those with health conditions and share ideas on how we can support older adults with health conditions to be active.
