Supporting Policy Makers and Regulators Through Nature Restoration: Free Workshop & Consultation
Help shape the future of nature-based policy and regulation while discovering opportunities to support your work, community, and environment.
Policy makers and regulators play a crucial role in enabling the uptake of Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) to:
- Create policies that enhance resilience to extreme weather events and climate change
- Meet national and international environmental goals and targets
- Support local communities and businesses
- Promote biodiversity and enhance local wildlife
- Strengthen public sector leadership on environmental issues
- Facilitate innovation in environmental governance and sustainable practices
The Derbyshire Wildlife Trust (DWT), in partnership with the University of Derby and the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce, is launching a project to identify the barriers that policy makers and regulators face and explore how best to support their engagement with Nature-Based Solutions.
We invite policy makers and regulators to join our workshops, which will result in the development of policy recommendations and tools that make NBS more accessible and effective at the governmental level.
Light refreshments available.
💡 Exclusive Offer: All participants will receive a free one-on-one consultation with an advisor from Wild Solutions to discuss tailored opportunities for integrating NBS into their work.
