Come and join the Speech and Language Training team to learn about how to support children with social communication and interaction needs and autistic children in your early years’ settings. You will learn:

· To learn about the Means, Reasons and opportunities model

· To understand about social communication needs

· To learn ways to facilitate interactions

· To learn how to give children a reason to communicate

· To make a plan for applying strategies to children in your setting

This training session is appropriate for all staff working within early years settings, including nurseries, pre-schools and PVIs.

This training session will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams. There are opportunities to ask questions through the online chat function during the session. A link to where you can download relevant handouts will be sent out via Eventbrite with the link to join the session, at least a few days before the session start date.

Please note:

This training is being offered twice across the term. You only need to book onto one training session.
Places are limited and there will be a maximum of 75 attendees for this training.
A maximum of 2 members of teaching staff per setting are able to access the training.
Booking closes two weeks prior to the date of the training.
