Description

This interactive session will give a brief overview of how an autistic student may present in HE settings as well as discussing their barriers to learning and inclusion. The session will focus on the specific areas of challenge for students with ASD, for example group work, social reading, living in etc. This session is aimed at any member of staff who comes into contact with students with ASD and provides strategies and ideas for supporting these challenges. Delivered by Jo Sullivan, Lecturer and Pamela Moss, Academic Skills Tutor.
