FREE 1-DAY WORKSHOP WITH MIND IN CAMDEN

This 1-day workshop will provide a safe space in which we'll explore ways of supporting women in forensics who have experienced complex trauma/s. We will consider ways of supporting women in a one-to-one context, as well as think about how learning could be applied to groups.

Topics covered include:

  • Different ways and models of thinking about trauma/s

  • The power and impact of the stories we hear and tell

  • Exploring compassion and self-care strategies for staff

  • Working to create safe spaces for women in distress

ELIGIBILITY

This workshop is open to anyone working with women in forensics, as well as with female ex-offenders.We welcome enquiries from staff working within safer custody departments, mental health and healthcare teams and community organisations.
